The general objectives of the Philippine Language School of Victoria.

To teach and promote the use of the Filipino Language, for better understanding of the Filipinos, Filipino cultural heritage, identity, custom and tradition.

Specific Objectives are:

1. To teach non - Filipino speaking students to understand, speak, read and write in Filipino for better appreciation of the Filipino arts, culture and tradition.

2. To provide a unique opportunity for students, teachers, and parents to make new friends, acquaintances, and to foster unity among Filipino Australians which is essential in multicultural society.

Philippine Language School Vision:

1. To provide a learning environment that is comprehensive, inclusive and responsive to the needs of the student.

2. To foster the development of the student, respecting the dignity and worth of each individual by providing a challenging curriculum with attainable goals.

Goals and Aims:

1. To promote a concept of life-long learning among all members of this community: students, parents and staff.

2. To promote and expand the services of the PLSV to other areas in Victoria and to remain a model in bilingual language in the Filipino community in Australia.
